The second installment in a mobile sandbox series developed by Candy Rufus Games. Survivalcraft 2 enables the players to enter a vast sandbox world built from three-dimensional blocks. The action is seen from a first-person perspective, while the game focuses around exploration and crafting. Our job is to acquire resources that can be spent on useful tools, weapons, or inventive traps.
Survivalcraft 2 is a sandbox developed by Candy Rufus Games. The game, released for all major mobile platforms, including AND, WP and iOS, was thoroughly inspired by the famous Minecraft.
In Survivalcraft 2, the players enter an open world built from three-dimensional blocks that enable them to explore and engage in broadly defined crafting. The players acquire resources that enable them to craft useful tools and weaponry, create inventive traps, as well as weave clothes (the game contains over 40 pieces of clothing that increase our defense against predators or extreme weather conditions).
As can be gathered from the title, the game focuses on survival - players are occupied with animal hunting (the game’s fauna contains over 30 species) and plant cultivation. Interestingly enough, some of the animals found in game can be used as mounts, enabling the player to cover longer distances. Additionally, the game offers the ability to build your own hideout – aside from various constructions; we are free to build electrical devices, as well as machines with different levels of complexity.
Survivalcraft 2 is characteristic for its modifiable environment and simple three-dimensional visuals, seen from a first person perspective. The capabilities of the physics engine are quite considerable for a mobile game – explosions chip rocks and create craters, while players can dig in the ground and modify exisiting landforms at will.
