SUPERHOT: Mind Control Delete

SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE is an expansion to SUPERHOT, an action game from 2016 released on PC. This is a stand-alone expansion so it does not require the basic version of the game to work. The project is available for free for the owners of the original and both productions have been developed by the SUPERHOT Team studio.

Mechanics

The add-on was built on the foundations of the original game. SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE is an FPS action game and the gameplay comes down to fighting groups of opponents with firearms and melee weapons. SUPERHOT's trademark mechanic makes a return - time passes only when we move the character. This allows you to calmly analyze situations, create complex combat plans, and then implement them with surgical precision.

SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE, released on PC, offers a substantial set of new maps. Moreover, the game has new elements inspired by roguelike games. These include, among other things, a system where certain challenges are procedurally generated, making the game last longer and have more complex stories.

In addition, SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE offers new types of weapons and enemies. During the game, we can unlock new abilities and additional characters with unique features. As the player's strength increases, enemies are also strengthened.

Technical aspects

As in the case of the original, the distinguishing feature of SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE is an unusual graphic style. Locations are ascetic, made mainly of flat white chunks. Enemies and trails left behind by the projectiles are red.
