Superfuse PC

Superfuse is a hack'n'slash that takes inspiration from superhero comics. It was developed by Stitch Heads Entertainment and published by Raw Fury.

Plot

Superfuse offers us a dark vision of the future. Conditions on Earth forced humanity to escape and colonize the solar system. The few billionaires who survived not only control the lives of the majority, but also enjoy longevity and superpowers. When a new threat hangs over the humans in the form of hordes of monsters, the rich decide to send out enforcers - soldiers with supernatural abilities, whose task is to deal with the danger. We play as one of these killing machines and our goal is to restore the old order. Along the way, we learn the dark secrets of the elite and more about their conspiracies.

Game mechanics

In Superfuse we observe the action in isometric view. After choosing one of five character classes there's nothing left for us to do but to set off on an adventure. We travel through a variety of places, such as futuristic metropolises, dark underground or destroyed lands, which once were teeming with life. Exploring them, we eliminate hordes of enemies, including cannon fodder and powerful bosses. Battles are extremely dynamic and during them we have to be in constant motion.

We kill our enemies with more or less conventional weapons, as well as by using truly comic book superpowers; for example, we can lead a donkey into battle cutting enemies to pieces with claws that Wolverine himself wouldn't be ashamed of. As we progress we gain better weapons and armor and unlock new combat skills (there are a lot of them) and improve the ones we already have. Thanks to this, our combat potential grows over time, which allows us to face greater challenges.

What's interesting, the locations are procedurally generated, so returning to already visited places (for example in search of better loot), shouldn't be boring.

Game modes

In Superfuse you can play both solo and in co-op mode for up to four people.

Technical aspects

As befits a game inspired by comic books, Superfuse features colorful cel-shading graphics.
