Super Zoo Story is an RPG about managing a zoo. The project was developed by a team called simply Super Zoo Story Team.

Plot

The game tells the story of the heir (or heiress, because the game lets you choose the gender of our character) of the owner of a private zoo. After our father's death, the business falls into disrepair, so we return to our hometown to restore it to its former glory.

Game mechanics

Super Zoo Story is an RPG in which we play the role of a zoo owner. We start the game by creating our own character. Then we take on the task of bringing the business into order. The player can renovate objects for animals and construct new ones. It is also necessary to build decorative elements and take care of the needs of our visitors.

In the game you will find more than 70 species of animals, ranging from fish to dinosaurs. Each type has unique requirements that we must fulfill. We have to properly prepare their enclosures, take care of feeding and deal with health problems.

We can also deal with reproducing animals, and in the case of dinosaurs - also with manipulating their DNA code, which allows to create new color variants of prehistoric reptiles. We also have to properly balance the entire zoo's activities in financial terms. All these activities are performed by us personally, instead of giving orders to employees, as it happens in economic strategies.

The game is not limited to work in the family business. The game world also includes the areas surrounding the zoo. The player can go on expeditions to caves and other wild places to get resources and new animals.

Moreover, we meet over 40 NPCs - some of them will work with us in the zoo, while others live in a nearby town. Each of them has its own life and performs a number of activities every day, regardless of whether we interact with them or not. An important part of the game is developing relationships with these people and creating friendships. It is also possible to romance them and start a family.
