Super Mega Baseball 2 is a continuation of a warmly-received title focusing on baseball. The game was released on a number of platforms and was developed by Metalhead Software.

Mechanics

In comparison with the first installment, the gameplay of Super Mega Baseball 2 hasn’t been changed much. As a result, we are dealing with an arcade game focusing on dynamic, fun-oriented gameplay. We are left with a number of fictional teams characteristic for their upsides and downsides. The individual players are characterized by a complex system of statistics – we can develop their abilities by hiring professional trainers. Moreover, we are free to create our own player, choosing not only his gender but looks and individual statistics. We can also create a league, designing its structure and official logo. Winning enables us to ascend to new experience levels – the acquired points can be spent on various upgrades.

Game Modes

In opposition to its predecessor, which only offered single player campaign and a local multiplayer mode, Super Mega Baseball 2 allows us to take part in online games – various gameplay modes include cooperation, as well as rivalry between the players.

Technical Aspects

Similarly to the first installment of the series, Super Mega Baseball 2 is characteristic for its cartoonish visuals. This time, the developers introduced high-quality textures and advanced effects – as a result, the graphics are reminiscent of Pixar movies.
