Combination of action game and tactical TPP shooting. The title character is a cyber-soldier created by VexTech to suppress the rebellion against it. An unexpectedly perfect killing machine recovers some of its human memories and tries to get out of a closely guarded military complex. The title was produced by SilentDeveloper studio.

Subject 9 is a proposal of an independent studio SilentDeveloper addressed to science fiction enthusiasts. The production combines elements of an action game and tactical shooting with a third person view (TPP).

Subject 9 presents a vision of the world of the future (with the action taking place in 2092), in which megacorporations play a dominant role. These have led to the depletion of most of the Earth's natural resources, as well as to the partial destruction of the hemisphere above the northern hemisphere. The dissatisfied population started a rebellion against VexTech, the largest oppressor. In response, the corporation sent an army of robots to fight. However, the idea of using soulless machines did not bring the expected results. It was therefore decided to reeach for the achievements of technology and to equip them with a small group of soldiers, making them the perfect killing machine. The experiment had an unexpected effect. One of the cybernetic soldiers, known as Subject 9, regained some of his memories and stood up against his superiors.
