Stuntfest, available on PC Windows, is a humoristic stunt sandbox, created by Bugbear Entertainment. The game evolved from various tech demos created by the developer during their works on Next Car Game: Wreckfest. The developer decided to release this game simply because they had a great time with it.
Mechanics
Stuntfest takes players to a rather large sandbox – an open world full of various stunt challenges. The world is filled to the brim with intricate tracks, which were designed for various vehicles such as racing cars, hot rods, shopping carts or scooters. The developers didn't pay much attention to realism and because of that we can find various ramps and platforms but also giant toilet bowls or hammers that can squish contestants driving under them. Each challenge has different rules – players may have to crash a car in such a way that its driver goes through the car's front window and lands in a gigantic mixer.
Game modes
Stuntfest, available on PC Windows, offers both single and multiplayer modes. Besides participating in challenges created by the developers we may also create our own and share them with the game's community through Steam Workshop.
Technical aspects
Even though realism isn't the game's core, the gameplay in Stuntfest is handled by an advanced physics engine that takes into account such things as mass, speed and endurance of all objects. The character models are handled by a ragdoll system. The game uses technology used in Next Car Game: Wreckfest, which means that the 3D graphics look good – the vehicle damage system is the most noticeable feature of the game.
