Strategic War in Europe Description
Strategic War in Europe is a turn-based strategy game set in the times of World War II. It was created by Wastelands Entertainment, a Polish development studio known mostly for productions of the very same genre.
The game offers six scenarios that take place in years 1939-1944, extensive hexagonal map of Europe and North Africa, as well as the possibility to take control of over 25 countries divided into 3 alliances that existed at that time (Allies, the Axis, The Communist International). The players may choose one of the five difficulty levels. The gameplay is enriched with advanced economy and technology systems with five development trees. Dynamically changing weather influences the tactical possibilities on the battlefield.
The 2D graphics are simple and legible. Strategic War in Europe does not overwhelm its players with complicated gameplay mechanics and rules. Instead, it puts an emphasis on relaxing and pleasurable gaming experience. Moreover, the game fully support fan modifications.
