A 2D action game with roguelike elements, inspired by Wizard of Legend, Dead Cells and Noita. In StormEdge we participate in very dynamic battles, taking risky moves and balancing on the edge. It allows our character to cast the most powerful spells.
StormEdge is an action game with roguelike elements, allowing us to take on the role of a powerful mage belonging to the titular guild. Our task is to fight hordes of adversaries and stop the elemental storms that pose a threat to the entire world. The game was developed by the independent studio Shieldbreaking Games, and its sources of inspiration were such titles as Wizard of Legend, Dead Cells and Noita.
Gameplay
In StormEdge we watch the action from a bird's eye view. Traveling through the fantasy world, we take on the role of one of the characters with different available powers and we mainly fight opponents. During extremely dynamic battles, we must be constantly on the move, avoiding enemy blows and skillfully using traps placed on the battlefields, as well as making use of spells based on elements.
We should be cautious, as both traps set for enemies and spells cast by our mage (or witch) can be deadly dangerous for us as well. The risk pays off, because by balancing on the edge we gather power that allows us to cast the most effective spells. Compared to many other productions of this type, this game stands out due to the lack of so-called skill cooldowns. We can use individual abilities at will, without having to wait for their regeneration.
In breaks from dangerous journeys, we return to the city that serves as our base of operations. We can improve our character's abilities here, as well as acquire new weapons and amulets.

We can play StormEdge alone or in local co-op mode.
