Storm Boy: The Game Description
Storm Boy: The Game is a narrative adventure developed by the Blowfish Studios, known for productions such as Morphite, The Deer God and Siegecraft Commander. This game is an adaptation of a novel under the same title, written by Australian writer Colin Thiele.
Plot
Storm Boy: The Game takes place in the south of Australia, near the estuary of the Murray River. The title tells the story of a boy who saved orphaned pelican chicks; one of them, Mr. Percival, stayed with him for years, becoming his faithful companion.
Mechanics
In Storm Boy: The Game, players accompany the boy and his pelican at a number of important moments in their lives (for example, when they managed to save the sailors who faced a storm). In addition, they take part in various activities in the form of mini-games, such as drawing on sand, sailing, surfing or even feeding Mr. Percival. The possibility of taking direct control of the pelican and enjoying a lonely flight or flying in the company of other birds makes the game even more interesting.
Technical aspects
Three-dimensional graphics of Storm Boy: The Game are kept in an original, colorful style, similar to a drawing made with pastels.
