Steel of Haste PC

Steel of Haste is an unusual car race. The distinguishing element of this title is the environment, because the game was set in the postapocalyptic realities. This move should not come as a surprise, as the action of the previous production by the Hungarian development studio Clever's Development, the unsuccessful Terminator 3: War of the Macines, took place in similar climates.

In SoH, our planet has been affected by a large-scale environmental disaster. Only a few survived the catastrophe, who with time began to gather in larger communities. The game focuses our attention on one of such groups of "chosen" people. After a longer journey, they reach one of the few large cities that emerged after the catastrophe - the Lost City. It is currently controlled by three different clans - wolves, rats and scorpions. At the head of the gangs stands a mysterious individual known as The Monarch.

One of the main attractions of the said city are the races of vehicles, which are not subject to any rules and which you can, of course, join. The winners will be rewarded with riches, which in postapocalyptic realities have taken on additional value. Individual competitions take place mainly in the area of Lost City itself. Depending on the type of competition, it can be large docks, gloomy slums or a district inhabited by richer groups of settlers. The authors of the game have prepared ten different tracks in total. Because races are not fair-playing, weapons mounted on vehicles or collected during the race play an important role. These can be various rifles, rocket launchers, mines or grenades. The player must not only be able to operate the vehicle efficiently, but also eliminate other opponents.

In career mode, every win translates into a valuable cash prize. The funds can be used to carry out necessary repairs to the vehicle or to make numerous modifications to it. The player can choose from nine different car models. Subsequent machines are unlocked as the game progresses. Vehicles behave in a realistic way and are also subject to damage. Artificial intelligence of enemies is at a high level. A maximum of six competitors can enter one race. In addition to the expanded singleleplayer, several network modes have been prepared. Players can meet on the local network or on the Internet. Steel of Haste runs on a powerful three-dimensional graphic engine. Game producers placed particular emphasis on complex models of competing vehicles.
