Lagsters is a fascinating arcade racing with shooting in tubes-shaped tunnels. Tube racing is a quite unusual thing, while it is rather different from what you got used to see in “flat-road” racing. Due to the special gravitation based on pushing the objects out of the centre of the tunnel you forget, that you can outrun your opponent only from the left or from the right side – now you can easily do it driving on the ceiling. In Lagsters, you understand that enclosed space of the tunnels seems such only for the first sight. Just because of the gravitation, you get new space and wider freedom of action.
In Lagsters you plunge into place, where harmonically interlace hi-tech, post-nuclear plants and factories, mines and organic tunnels, thus creating the world unseen before. All of foregoing environments are interesting in not only design and layout, but in tactics.
Single race suggests 4 different championships containing 8 tracks in each – you get 32 unique tracks in common. Multiplayer mode gives you few different types of the game, that make this mode quite another game with new rules and gameplay. Among them, you will see:
- Last Man Driving
- Fox and Hounds
- Divided Glory
The race itself is not the main and the only principle of the game. The weapons play an impose role - it can either help you to slow down overtaking enemies or to catch up the favorite of the race. Each track gives you few opportunities and it is not obligatory to be first – you have various tasks to do. There’s no linear passing of the tracks – you take part in the race which entrance payment you can afford.
Vehicles in Lagsters are not similar cars; it is a particular part of the game.
