Stay in the Light Description
Stay in the Light is a survival horror created by Sunside Games studio. The game is designed to make the best possible use of ray tracing technology.
Plot
In Stay in the Light, players take on the role of a hero trapped in a dark, mysterious maze. The protagonist has to find a way to survive, which is difficult enough when having a humanoid monster known as He constantly chasing him.
Mechanics
In Stay in the Light the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game, players explore vast dungeons, solve environmental puzzles, and discover secrets hidden in dark corners. On the screen, there is a mirror thanks to which one can see what is happening behind their backs, a torch illuminating dark corridors, and a bit of chalk. At the same time, players must be constantly on guard, because their character cannot fight, so a close encounter with the main opponent can end tragically.
Dungeons are generated procedurally, which increases the replayability of the game. The authors allow players to watch the process of their creation, and if one doesn't like the labyrinth, nothing stands in the way of repeating this action until the desired effect is achieved.
Technical aspects
Stay in the Light has high quality three-dimensional visuals. The dynamic and realistic lighting, the various molecular effects, and the way in which the environment is reflected in the aforementioned mirror are particularly appealing. All of this, however, has high hardware requirements and requires a GeForce RTX card or one of the more advanced GeForce GTX models to get started.
