A tactical shooter with a top-down view, allowing us to control a counter-terrorist unit. In Status One we play the role of the leader of the team - we can create a group of operators and plan their actions for the upcoming missions. Our subordinates can use various firearms, grenades and gadgets.

Status One is a tactical shooter in which we lead a special anti-terrorist unit. The game was developed by the independent Polish team LastCall Studio, which has a smaller-scale mobile project in its portfolio, titled Flick Up.

Gameplay

In Status One we watch the action from a top-down view. The game allows us to create our own unit of operators from scratch. We can then send them to fight against criminal groups over the course of subsequent missions. Given that criminals operate throughout the country, a sandbox-structured campaign was prepared for the game, throwing us into various places.

We can meticulously examine each location to plan our future actions. This is important because the game is characterized by a high level of difficulty, so thoughtless actions can quickly result in the death of our operators. We take on the role of a team leader. Nothing prevents us from going into battle with our subordinates, but we can just as well stay in the back and focus on giving orders and coordinating the unit's actions.

On the battlefield, our counter-terrorists use firearms, grenades, and a wide range of gadgets. In addition to this, their clothing plays an important role, led by helmets or bulletproof vests. As we progress, we develop our subordinates and also equip them with increasingly better equipment, which makes them more effective over time.
