Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition for PC, X360 and PS3 is a special edition of an action game set in the popular universe of Star Wars. Apart from the original game, the package also contains three new levels, which unveil some events set between the so-called New and Old trilogies.

Story

The story of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – Ultimate Sith Edition for PC, X360 and PS3 sets out a history of conflict between the increasingly powerful Galactic Empire and their opposition known as the Rebel Alliance. We play the part of Lord Vader’s apprentice, and spread the Dark Side of the Force together with the master.

Among the additional scenarios included in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – Ultimate Sith Edition for PC, X360 and PS3 there are two missions set on the planets of Coruscant and Tatooine. Both of them were previously available as paid DLC on consoles. The last add-on has been created specifically for the Ultimate Sith Edition, and features a conclusion of the Infinities story which had started on Tatooine.

This story features an alternative version of the events known from the Star Wars movies. Here the Vader’s secret apprentice, whom we meet in the original Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, defeats his master and takes his place beside the Emperor in order to deliver an ultimate strike to the remaining Jedi Knights. The protagonist’s first task is to fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Later, he is also sent on Hoth to crush the Rebellion base set there. There, on this ice-cold planet, he meets Luke Skywalker himself, whom he has to defeat in order to bring the story to a happy ending – at least from the Empire’s perspective.

Besides, the Ultimate Sith Edition features many recognizable places and characters from the Empire Strikes Back movie. For example, the hero of the Force Unleashed arrives to Jabba the Hutt’s palace and also encounters the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett.

As for gameplay, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition for PC, X360 and PS3 is exactly what we know from the original release. Hence, we get an action-packed third-person game with lots of spectacular combat and elements of platformer. While fighting the protagonist uses not only a lightsaber, but also a variety of Force powers.
