Mechanics

Sports: Renovations is a first-person simulator in which we renovate old sports centers. It was developed by Goat Gamez, a Polish studio crated as a join initiative of Movie Games and a Polish football player, Robert Lewandowski.

Plot

The story focuses on stopping a construction developer, planning to demolish a basketball court and building a shopping mall in its place. The game's protagonist decides to gather money and save the court, which has raised many sports talents.

Mechanics

Sports: Renovations tasks us with renovating deteriorating sports facilities, such as football fields, swimming pools, gyms or hockey stadiums. Each of these places has its own storyline and side quests. The funds raised can restore the local basketball facility to its former glory.

The player first removes trash and cleans dust from the premises. Then we must paint the walls, repair equipment and furniture. We can also decide the purposes of individual rooms, trying to make them functional. To wrap it all up, we add decorative elements, restoring the spirit of each object. Over time, our funds let us upgrade or buy new tools as well as to expand our own premises, which means higher profits.

Sports: Renovations offers a story campaign and a free-play mode.
