A mobile arcade sports game developed by Cherrypick Games, creators of such games as Touchdown Hero and Must Deliver. Sports Hero allows the player to participate in six different disciplines. One can rival others in 100-metre dash, weightlifting, javelin throw, 50-metre swimming, hurdles and long jump. Each category is a different arcade minigame with its own rules.

Sports Hero is a sports arcade game released on iOS and AND. It was developed by the Cherrypick Games studio, known for such titles as Touchdown Hero or Must Deliver.

Mechanics

Sports Hero, available on iOS and AND, does not focus on just one sport. The authors allowed us to play in six different disciplines. We can compete in one hundred meters sprinting, weightlifting, javelin throwing, swimming over a distance of fifty meters, hurdling and long jump. Each of these categories has a different arcade mini-game. For example, when running we have to touch the screen quickly and accurately enough, and when lifting weights we have to balance properly with our smartphone or tablet.

At the beginning of the game, we don't have access to most of the disciplines - we have to unlock them by achieving successes in the available disciplines. The game has an experience system - we get points after each game, which allows you to advance to higher and higher levels and thus gain access to new disciplines.

However, unlocking a new discipline does not mean that we won't play the old ones. We can further improve our skills in them, slowly advancing on a five-level career path. Each level makes it easier to get more points and thus make it easier to take a place on the podium.

An additional attraction is the fact that the authors have placed in their work a lot of hidden surprises, which we can discover by carefully examining the environment on different screens. For example, repeatedly touching the cabinet in the main menu activates a funny animation.

Game modes

Sports Hero offers two basic play modes. We can play alone, competing with players controlled by artificial intelligence, or face other players in the multiplayer mode.
