Splatter: Zombiecalypse Now
Release Date: June 19, 2013
Action, 2D, top-down, indie games, shooters, splitscreen, multiplayer, singleplayer
A two-dimensional shooting from a bird's eye view, maintained in the atmosphere of noir films. We play the role of a grey inhabitant of a big metropolis, who in the face of the upcoming apocalypse realizes that the struggle for survival is more interesting than his boring, previous life. The game allows you to eliminate hosts of different creatures without any restrictions, offering old-school fun in modern graphic design.
You’re standing alone amongst the inhabitants of a modern city which suddenly took a turn for the apocalypse. Play an intriguing story line, upgrade your weapons, fight bosses, drive vehicles, meet other characters, and use light to survive. Humanity isn’t exactly worth saving, but you might end up doing it anyways. When you’re done with the story line, there’s much more fun to be had. Compete for high scores in various arcade-style arenas. Fool around in survival mode or fight or cooperate with your friends in local multiplayer game modes.
