SpellForce: Shadow of the Phoenix Description
Spellforce: Shadow of the Phoenix is the second official extension to a combination of strategy game and cRPG entitled Spellforce: The Order of Dawn.
The add-on offers nearly forty hours of exciting fun. The new campaign starts exactly at the same time as the story presented in the first extension to the game, i.e. Spellforce: The Breath of Winter. This time the game world is threatened by a mysterious necromancer, who enslaved a powerful god to use his abilities against everything that lives. In the first place he resurrected and made his servants thirteen magicians, who long ago fought among themselves for the power over the world. Only properly used power contained in the legendary phoenix stone can destroy the efforts of the necromancers.
The hero, in which the player plays the character, must stop the game world from being destroyed again. In order to do so, he has to pass a number of trials and tests that prove that he is the right candidate for this task. First of all, the player's task is to get a shadow blade, because it is supposedly the only one that can release the power contained in a phoenix tile. However, this legendary sword is owned by an unspecified warrior from Urgath. As events unfold, we join forces with him and fight together to prevent the threat. In total, the new single player campaign includes exactly thirteen maps.
Thanks to Spellforce: Shadow of the Phoenix, our character can reach even the fiftieth level of experience. In addition, you don't have to start the game anew, because you can import your existing character from both Order of Dawn and Breath of Winter. In addition, there are nearly 40 new magic spells and about 150 new items. A complete novelty is the ability to modify both their appearance and operation while playing. In addition, each of the races available in the game received two new types of units and buildings. For the multiplayer mode, exactly 25 new maps have been prepared. Of which 15 are part of the cooperation mode, which was added in the first extension to the game.
