A dynamic racing game, in a very clear reference to the action movie prepared by the Wachowski brothers. We play the role of the title driver sitting at the helm of a modern vehicle.

Speed Racer, released on PS2, Wii and NDS, is an uncomplicated arcade game, referring more to positions such as Cars than to fully-fledged racing games. This product refers to an adventure film by the Wachowski brothers, known mainly thanks to the Matrix series. During the game, we can drive the title vehicle. We also take part in similar races and trying to accomplish similar goals as the heroes of the movie. The game was developed by Sidhe Interactive. The company has also developed games such as Frankie Dettori Racing and GripShift.

Plot

Both the movie and the game directly refers to the popular Japanese anime series that aired in the 1960s. The game tells the same story as the movie starring Emile Hirsch. He is a young racing driver. Speed's biggest dream is to win a series of dangerous races. At the same time, he wants to reveal the details of the death of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed starts the competition driving Mach 5 supercar, constructed by his father. At the same time, we have to watch out for Racer X, who is hostile towards all players (especially Speed), in theatrical production played by Matthew Fox.
