Asphalt 2 Urban GT is another installment of a racing game series created by Ubisoft. Originally, the title was available exclusively on Nintendo DS, but in time it was also released on Sony's portable console. The developers offered players an impressive selection of licensed cars.
The game includes such prestigious car brands as Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Ducati, Kawasaki, Dodge, and Chevrolet. In total the number of cars and motorbikes exceeds 40. You can drive these enviable machines in races set on the streets of 15 most recognizable cities of the world. These include New York, Miami, Tokyo, and Paris, among others. Together they feature 28 race tracks. It is noteworthy that the environment changes according to the time of the day.
Before starting the game, you get to select a preferable vehicle and then tune it up a little. There are over 30 customizable elements in each vehicle. These include such things as paintwork, tires, and engine performance. The unique look of your car or motorbike, its unparallel capabilities, and in-game music will make you feel unique on the streets.
You take part in 62 races spread across 10 modes. In the game, a mini-map displays your current position. Attractive girls from the Pussycat Dolls band are waiting on the finishing line to cheer for the winner.
The game sports 3D graphics with detailed car models and locations. The game’s pace is spiced up by the soundtrack featuring Moby and other artists.
