SpecForce (also known as Chrome: SpecForce) is a first-person action game that builds on the Chrome (feature film prequel) program developed by Techland.

SpecForce is a strike force unit created to deal with global hazards and crisis situations that endanger the Federation's stability. Armed with the most up to date combat equipment designed with the special forces in mind, the SpecForce field agents are an elite of the Federation's rapid reaction forces. As part of their basic equipment, each agent is fitted with a SPA4 Power Armor and a set of weapons and equipment, depending on the current mission.

General info

The game is set in a close future, at a time when the rapid advancement of technology allowed man's common dream of colonizing distant planets to become reality. However, the Federation's bureaucratized structures, which oversee the process of colonizing the universe, limit themselves to selling terraforming permits. This led to a situation where powerful mega corporations held an authoritarian rule on their very own private planets. The full autonomy of these new worlds and the stunning rate of expansion into new sectors caused the planets on the edge of explored universe to become a save heaven for much more then just criminal activity.
