Space Pirates and Zombies (also known as S.P.A.Z) is a science fiction strategy game for PC that takes place in the space. The player’s task is to explore the randomly generated galaxy and fight the spreading zombie plague. During the action observed from an aerial view, we assume control over a small fleet. With time, when we perform dynamically changing missions and obtain necessary resources, we can enlarge our army.

Mechanics

In combat, we make use of the tactical aerial view that eases managing a large number of vessels. Technological development is an important aspect of the campaign. By destroying enemies, not only do we gain valuable experience points that let us level up but we also obtain blueprints that unlock new kinds of spaceships. Additionally, exploring the space, we find parts that increase our fleet’s statistics. They can also be bought for cash on the interplanetary market.
