Three-dimensional action game in which we play the role of Overlords, ancient cosmic guardians, trying to destroy a creature named Kesedihan, wishing to capture the whole universe. We fight on small three-dimensional planets, levelling the ground of the city and the army of our nemesis.

Space Overlords, released on PS4, PC and PSV, is a 3D action game in which we play as powerful space overlords who fight against the forces of our nemesis inhabiting small planets. The game was developed by an independent studio 12 Hit Combo!, which is located in Bogota, the capital of Columbia. This is the developer's first large project.

Plot

The heroes of Space Overlords are space overlords, powerful beings possessing various powers. The purpose of their existence is to eliminate the servants of Kesedihan, an evil being who has been trying to dominate the universe for hundreds of years.

Mechanics

The action in Space Overlords is presented from the third-person perspective. The game combines the features of shoot'em up and hack and slash genres. Players choose one of several available overlords with unique skills. The campaign consists of several dozen levels, set on small planets presented in the form of three-dimensional spheres. Our goal is to destroy all the hostile troops and buildings belonging to the enemy. The developers introduced six types of opponents (in many variants) and several bosses.

Game modes

The game has four multiplayer modes for up to four people, both locally and over the Internet. In the case of the first variant, it is possible to play on a split-screen. It is worth mentioning that the game also offers an extensive level editor.

Technical aspects

Space Overlords doesn't offer any fireworks and advanced graphic effects. Models of characters and opponents are extremely simple and devoid of unnecessary details.
