The second part of one of the series based on the cult position from the historical catalogue of the developer Taito. The new version of Space Invaders offers special fun modes and the ability to play online.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 is another modification of Taito's classic hit from the 80s of the last century. The creators of the original are responsible for creating a new, refreshed version. Taito is one of the pioneering companies creating games. The studio started its activity as early as 1953 and over the years it has become famous for its many timeless productions (Arkanoid, Bubble Bobble, Elevator Action).

The first item from the Space Invaders series was released in 1978. The production created by Tomohiro Nishikado quickly gained many fans all over the world. The title was one of the first arcade shooters and offered two-dimensional graphics. The game consisted in repulsing an alien attack and earning as many points as possible.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 is a direct continuation of the title Space Invaders Extreme. Both games are based on the above mentioned old version, bringing it into a completely new dimension thanks to the use of colorful, interesting graphics and great music. The title also benefits from a portable DS console, i.e. a touch screen. The fun is also diversified by atmospheric music.

The creators have prepared many new attractions - the most important are completely unique add-ons to diversify the fun. Among them we can mention the Bingo System, which causes the squares on which we will shoot down the enemy to light up. To score special points we have to lay a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line from adjacent fields.

A great extension of the basic idea is also the introduction of support for online gameplay. In this version of the program we can face other players through the local network and the Internet. This guarantees many hours of fun and the opportunity to collectively break the largest possible records.
