Soup Pot

Soup Pot is a cooking simulator designed by independent studio Chikon Club. During the game, the player learns about over a hundred different dishes and shares the results of his work on the Cookbook platform - the equivalent of social media such as Facebook or Instagram.

Mechanics

The game recreates the conditions of a home kitchen, allowing the player to experiment with cooking. The player can, such as bake, fry and grill, using a variety of ingredients. The game allows the player to follow the recipe as well as to let their imagination run wild and rely on their own creativity. It is also possible to choose a way of serving, presenting a dish on a plate.

In Soup Pot, the player shares the results of his culinary experiments in a specially designed social media, widening the audience. If the player decides that he likes the final result of his work, he can take a picture of his dish and share it with the viewers on Cookbook. Depending on how the dish looks, the commenters can leave positive or sarcastic opinions under the picture.
