The action of the game takes place in a world created by God of Creation. His first work was the Land of Mortals, which he gave to people. Some time later a second continent was created, called Asura, where strange creatures with mysterious powers lived. God of Creation decided to ensure harmony between the two worlds. To this end, he created a third land, placed above the previous ones. They were to live there in smaller deities, whose task was to watch over all beings below. After accomplishing all this, the creator left the world. Soon afterwards, monsters from the Asura continent began an invasion of the Land of Mortals. Players take on the role of a superhuman being sent by the deities with the task of bringing peace.

As in most MMO games we start the fun by creating our own hero. There are several different classes to choose from. Among them we can find a Warrior dressed in heavy armour and equipped with powerful armour. In addition to cutting a hordes of enemies into the trunk, his task is also to protect the rest of the team. To this end, he uses, among other things, the ability to share defensive powers with his companions. We can also play Priest (Priest), who can cast healing spells and protective spells. Shaman (Shaman) prefers surprise attacks and his natural agility makes it easier for him to avoid blows. He can also perform healing rituals and cast curses. An interesting proposition is also the incarnation in Onmyoji. This class focuses on offensive spells and specialist gadgets.

What distinguishes Soul Captor Online from other MMORPGs is the fact that during the adventures each player is accompanied by a ghost called anima. The task of these creatures is to protect characters and collect the souls of fallen enemies, which we then use to create improvements for the hero and his animation. All monster souls gathered are put into a special collection, so you can unlock access to useful bonuses and summon defeated masks during battles. Our character becomes more powerful also thanks to fulfilling tasks and killing monsters.
