Mechanics
Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 is a sports game in which players take control of characters known from the Sonic universe (such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, Shadow and Blaze) and participate in sports competitions. The game includes 15 different sports, e.g. swimming, 400m run, gymnastics, boxing and karate. The gameplay in all of them is based on the proper touch or movement of a finger on the smartphone screen.
Game modes
In Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 you can only play alone. The game, however, has a social functions - the scores go to the leaderboard, where they can be compared with the other results.
