Song of Unleash on PS4 and PC is a two-dimensional manga-style visual novel and a continuation of Song of Memories available on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. We play as a young man suffering from amnesia, who, with the help of four accompanying girls, tries to solve the mystery of his identity. The game was developed by Pure Wish in cooperation with Nirai Kanai studio.
Plot
The story of Song of Unleash takes place seven years after the Utanami Incident, known from Song of Memories. The main character is a young man who does not remember his past and wakes up in a hospital bed. Before he has the opportunity to see who he is and what is going on, four girls appear around him: Kaede, Ayana, Aoi and Mishiro. Moreover, three of them claim to be the younger sister of the protagonist, even though they are not related to each other. Together they decide to solve the mystery of the hero's identity (and which of them is his real sister).
Mechanics
Song of Unleash on PS4 and PC is a typical graphic novel with elements taken from dating simulators. The gameplay here boils down to watching subsequent scenes, reading dialogues and making occasional decisions affecting the rest of the story, as well as the attitude of individual characters towards the protagonist.
Game modes
Song of Unleash, released on PS4 and PC, offers only a single player mode.
