Solar Flux Description
Solar Flux is the work of Firebrand Games studio, known for such productions as Fast & Furious: Showdown or Hot Wheels: World's Best Driver. This time, developers from Glasgow decided to prepare a strategy game enriched with arcade and logic elements.
In Solar Flux action takes place in 2107. The fate of the Universe seems a foregone conclusion. Stars die and galaxies disappear with them. An imminent disaster can only be prevented by a specialist rescue ship, which manages to collect the plasma fragments scattered in orbits and put them back into the nuclei of stars.
While playing, the player controls a small spacecraft. His goal is to reach and collect the fragments scattered on the board, and then shoot them towards the nucleus of a dying star. The task is complicated by asteroids, super new, power fields and zero gravity.
The developers of the game have prepared more than 80 missions in 4 galaxies, each of which has unique properties. The game requires, first of all, skillful manoeuvring of the vehicle and proper planning of the route of the flight. For each task, grades of 1 to 3 stars are awarded, and new levels are unlocked once you have accumulated a sufficient number of points.
Solar Flux features an aesthetically pleasing two-dimensional graphic design. Attention is drawn above all to the spectacular, animated backgrounds depicting cosmic space.
