A mobile sniper game developed by Glu Mobile, starring Jason Statham – a popular action movie star. In Sniper X, we assume the role of a member of an elite paramilitary organization – SPEAR, tasked with fighting terrorists in situations that prevent other special forces from acting. The gameplay consists of making clean shots in the direction of the enemies located on the map, but sometimes we may have to target drones or enemy vehicles.

Sniper X with Jason Statham for AND and iOS is another production from Glu Mobile, known for such hits as Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation or James Bond: World of Espionage. This time, we are dealing with a first person shooter, in which one of the main attractions is the performance of the famous action movie actor Jason Statham. He accompanies us during the game, cheering us, giving orders, and so on. The game uses a free-to-play model with microtransactions. During the game, we can invest money e.g. in weapon upgrades.

Plot

The story told in Sniper X with Jason Statham doesn't matter much, but it should be noted that the developers gave players a reason to shoot. We play as Sniper X who belongs to SPEAR, an elite, paramilitary organization, whose task is to fight against terrorists in very difficult conditions, which make it impossible for normal military forces to operate.

Mechanics

Sniper X with Jason Statham for AND and iOS is a shooter in which our only task is to shoot at the enemies. Sometimes, they are terrorists, sometimes drones or enemy vehicles. The scope attached to our weapon allows us to zoom in and out. After finding the target, we pull the trigger, or alternatively we activate the focus mode which slows the time down for a moment. Usually, the levels feature several enemies - you have to eliminate targets quickly so you won't get shot yourself. We receive virtual money and experience. The game also features impressive animations, showing in slow motion a bullet piercing a terrorist's body. In addition, while playing, we acquire new weapons, useful in various situations, such as a rifle, which works better than a sniper rifle during drones raid.

Technical aspects

The AND and iOS version of the game offers high-quality 3D graphics. Admittedly, the opponents are an army of clones, and their general angularity is visible while zooming in, but these are minor problems, masked by good special effects.
