Slam Land is an action party game developed by independent studio Bread Machine Games. The title was developed for PC, PS4, and Switch.

Plot

Slam Land takes place in a surrealistic world overseen by a good giant whose only pastime is observing competition between comical challenges, which fight for victory in various disciplines.

Mechanics

The action in Slam Land is presented from a side perspective. During the game, the players assume the role of characters such as an animated skeleton or an anthropomorphic carrot and they participate in five disciplines that take place on ten varied arenas.

In the titular Slam challenges, the players must gather as many points as possible before the time runs out. This can be achieved by attacking the enemies and throwing them at targets like an open maw. There is also Peanut Mode in which player must hold the peanut for as long as possible, H.O.R.S.E. mode in which the players are trying to create the titular word by throwing characters with various letters, and a Trash mode in which the objective is to create high piles of garbage.

Game modes

Slam Land was developed with local multiplayer in mind. Up to four players can participate in multiplayer modes. The game can be played alone as well.
