Skull Island: Rise of Kong is a third-person action adventure game developed by the Chilean studio IguanaBee, known for such games as Headsnatchers and MonsterBag. It was published by GameMill Entertainment.

Plot

Skull Island: Rise of Kong is a revenge story starring the titular gorilla, on a crusade against Gaw, the alpha predator who murdered his parents. To become the new king of the Skull Island - a dangerous land full of swamps, waterfalls, jungles and caves - Kong must face primal beasts and learn the history of his future kingdom.

Mechanics

Exploration plays a major part in Skull Island: Rise of Kong. The gorilla can climb specific objects, swing on vines, jump over pits and much more. This lets him reach all the nooks and crannies of the Skull Island.

He's also a capable combatant, facing many regular enemies and powerful bosses, beating them with his fists and throwing rocks. He can also enter fury mode to become more powerful and roar, scaring off weaker enemies. Kong's skills can be upgraded further, making him gradually more powerful.
