Klass of 99 is an excellent conversion of a game known from Spectrum entitled Skool Daze and undoubtedly one of the best fan remakes that has ever seen the light of day. The player plays the role of Eric, an unruly pupil whose task is to delete the compromising report from the secretary's computer. If the boy's disastrous assessment of his studies reaches his parents, a catastrophe will happen!
The fact that school is a place of constant battles during breaks, tricks served to teachers and a relaxed approach to lessons is known to almost every real rascal from autopsies. In Klass of 99 it is very similar, with the difference, however, that all offences are punished with all severity. Mr. Wacker, the local director, has introduced the rule of terror into primary school, and all students who exceed the rules of procedure are bearing the consequences. Of course, the player has a full range of behaviors that are not welcome in any school. So he can break his friends, shoot from the slings to teachers, scribble on the board obscene inscriptions and even steal bombs from the boiler room. Catching on any offense is punished with the task of rewriting several hundred lines of text (depending on the degree of offense, there may be more or less of them). If Eric has completed 10,000 lines in one day, he is immediately expelled from school.
As in any school, you should attend classes here, too. The text at the bottom of the screen indicates what the poor boy is currently waiting for. After going to the classroom, take a seat on the bench and patiently wait for your ringtone. Any kind of truancy and wandering around the object, arouses immediate interest of the teacher in the lesson, who starts the search. Considering that during short breaks between classes it is difficult to carry out the main task, it is important to weigh frequently, avoiding any contact with adults like a fire.
As for remake, Klass of 99 is an almost perfect product. Both the highly tuned audio-visual setting and the faithful devotion to the realities of the game from the original Skool Daze, arouse due respect for the creators of the game. The program has only one disadvantage - you can't save your current achievements in any way, which forces the player to play from the beginning.
