Silicon Valley: Billionaire, released on AND and iOS, is a mobile economic strategy. It is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by the Korean Nanoo studio, known for such games as Dark Sword, Tap Quest and Exit Hero.

Plot

As the title suggests, we play as a novice businessman trying to become the newest billionaire in Silicon Valley, a region of Southern California which is an American center of new technologies. The presented realities were treated humorously. The authors didn't try to create a realistic business simulator - the game has a lot of elements making fun off the subject.

Mechanics

Silicon Valley: Billionaire is an economic strategy about company management. At the beginning of the game, we set up our modest company and our task is to turn it into a real tycoon. In order to achieve this, we must, among other things, expand our headquarters - it is necessary to construct new rooms for various purposes, and then improve their interiors and equipment.

Of course, no company can do too much without staff. That is why it is our duty to recruit and train new employees. It is also necessary to decide on promotions and vacations, as well as which subordinates we want to fire. Besides all these elements, we also have to manage the finances aspect. The priority is profit, which requires an appropriate balance between expenditure and revenue. We can also use the option to invest in other people's projects.

All this takes place in a virtual online world, inhabited by the entire community of players. The authors don't force us to interact with strangers, but if you want to, you can invest in other users' companies and establish various forms of cooperation with them. It is even possible to purchase other companies.
