Sid Meier's Civilization III: Play the World is an official add-on for Civilization III, the third installment in the famous turn-based strategy game series. The most important novelty in Play the World is the multiplayer mode allowing to play via LAN and the Internet in Elimination, Domination, Regicide and King of the Mountain modes. We may play with our friends using three kinds of gameplay system: by switching turns, simultaneously or in turnless mode. Moreover, Play the World enriches the game with eight new civilizations, eight new leaders with different traits and skills (such as Genghis Khan, Hannbial, Quen Isabella, King Brennus), advanced scenario editor, as well as a number of new maps and locations.
