Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Description
This title is, in a way, a continuation of the Civilization strategy-econimic games. It takes us to the Alpha Centauri planet, where the Sid Meier's Civilization II left off. Reaching the Alpha Centauri planet would end the events of Civilization II.
The gameplay is nearly identical to that known from Civilization, meaning: once again, we have to develop our nation by developing technology, economy, trade, army, and also take good political decisions. All takes place in a hostile environment of an alien planet, and all the options, including advancement and technology, are adjusted to the futuristic theme of the game.
- Another work of the legendary Sid Meier.
- Over 75 incredible technologies.
- Over 60 different building and numerous epochal structures.
- Possibility of designing own units – over 32 thousand possible configurations of different parts.
- The game has been awarded “Game of the Year” and “Strategy Game of the Year” awards many times over.
