Shop Heroes is an economic strategy game developed by Cloudcade. The game is set in a fantasy world, where we take on the role of a small town shop owner. The town is visited regularly by numerous adventurers, which opens up new ways for us to line our pockets and turn our small shop into a flourishing business. In Shop Heroes, we manage our shop. We have to choose wares and equipment to sell and craft goods based on the obtained blueprints.

Plot

The action takes place in the Kingdom of Aragonia, a typical fantasy land. We have all the standard elements of the genre, e.g. the technological level corresponding to the Middle Ages, magic and numerous intelligent races and monsters. We play as the owner of a shop visited by many adventurers. Our task is, of course, to transform this modest business into real market power.

Mechanics

Shop Heroes is a classic casual economic strategy. We have to manage the store by choosing the right goods and equipment. It is also necessary to employ talented workers, give them instructions and train them to develop their skills. We can also invest the money we earn in the expansion of the whole town, which ensures the visits of more and more powerful heroes.

The game has an extensive crafting system - we can use it to obtain the most profitable items. To craft something, we need to collect blueprints and components. Also, some of the most valuable items require a combination of several other, less valuable ones.

The heroes visiting our shop are not just customers. We can also rent them and send them on missions to defeat monsters in the undergrounds - this will provide us the rarest items. Many of these tasks also bring useful bonuses helpful in running your business. Before each adventure, we get the option of changing the equipment of heroes, which allows us to increase the chances of success.
