Shinobido: Tales of the Ninja is a typical sneaky, also known under the Japanese name Shinobido: Homura. The title was created together with his bigger brother, Shinobido: Way of the Ninja, released on PlayStation 2.

The action of the game takes us to sixteenth-century Japan, and more specifically to the province of Utakata. We play the role of a young ninja warrior - Gou. As a witness to the massacre of members of the native clan, we decide to take revenge on our torturers.

There are eighty tasks in total and they consist of activities such as defeating all enemies in the area, stealing documents or protecting an important person. The Tales of the Ninja offers some freedom of choice and does not force us to carry out each mission in a specific order. Before we achieve our goal, we must jump over buildings, hide in the shadows, and finally make surprise attacks, killing enemies with one blow. However, when we are noticed by an opponent, we are forced to strike a sword. During these tasks we use a typical ninja arsenal. We use both throwing weapons, traps and special elixirs, which not only heal but also improve statistics. As the story unfolds, our hero develops his coefficients, and besides, we unlock other characters, of which there are as many as thirty in total!

The game offers multiplayer mode. Through Wi-Fi we can play with up to four people. Also, if you have a version on PlayStation 2 - Shinobido: Ways of the Ninja, you can import maps from it.
