Shape of Dreams is an action game that is a genre hybrid. The combat system is known from MOBA titles and it was combined with mechanics borrowed from roguelike-type productions. The game was developed by the independent studio Lizard Smoothie.

Story

In Shape of Dreams we play as a hero who ends up in The Rapids. This is an intermediary kingdom between the world of dreams and reality.

One day, the boundary between them collapsed, creating interdimensional cracks. Thanks to them, many heroes have entered this mysterious land. According to rumors, at the end of the world of dreams, nothing is impossible.

Gameplay

Shape of Dreams allows us to follow the events from a bird's eye view (top-down perspective). Exploring the surrealistic land, we discover the secrets of forgotten dreams and fight opponents whose strength and numbers grow with each successive wave.

Quick reactions, precision, and skillful use of the character's power are of key importance. The combat system draws inspiration from MOBA games, allowing for spectacular attack combinations and synergistic use of special skills.

We can customize the abilities of our hero before setting out on the battlefield. This takes place within the framework of editing and manipulating Memories. We acquire gems during battles and they allow us to develop new special effects and strengthen synergies.

The game is based on progression - with each subsequent round we gain new skills and items, which affect the style of fighting and chances of survival.

Game modes

Shape of Dreams offers a single-player mode and an online coop, where we can jointly face waves of enemies and experiment with various combinations of characters and skills.
