Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Serpent's Heart

The Serpent's Heart is the fifth DLC to an action adventure game called Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The add-on was developed by the creators of the base game and all previous expansions, i.e. Eidos Montreal studio in cooperation with Crystal Dynamics.

Plot

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Serpent's Heart, Lara Croft's task is to save the rebels whose uprising has failed; in order to do so, the protagonist must infiltrate the fortress occupied by Kukulkan's cultivists. In addition, the heroine has to explore the sunken tomb known as the Slayer's Gauntlet, which hides the power of a snake god.

Mechanics

In addition to the above mentioned tomb in Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Serpent's Heart players will find a new outfit for Lara - the Dragon's Heart - which reduces fire damage, accelerates health regeneration, and prevents tipping over. In addition, the expansion described herein introduces the Snake Bite bow (the arrows set targets on fire) and the Divine Gift skill, which provides Miss Croft with more gold from the defeated enemies. In addition, this DLC unlocks additional tombs that can be completed in the Score Attack and Time Attack modes.

Technical aspects

The Serpent's Heart is not a stand-alone add-on, so it requires the base version of the game in order to work.
