The game servers have been turned off and its further development has been stopped.

Shadow Company: The Mercenary War is a FPS for multiplayer gameplay, developed on the basis of a free-to-play system (free gameplay with a microtransaction system). The game was developed by South Korean Doobic Game Studios. In 2008, the company created a similar, also free and widely available Combat Arms shooting range.

The action of the game takes place in the near future, when the authorities in the world have powerful mega corporations that use the most brutal methods to expand their influence. For this purpose, they employ well-trained and ready for everything mercenaries.

The developer has released classic gameplay modes, including team deathmatch and capture a bomb. Interestingly, up to four teams can fight simultaneously on each map, each with a capacity of up to six players. As easy to count, servers can accommodate up to twenty-four players.
