When arrival of undead army turns humans against each other, the titular group of seven heroes must save the world and defeat forces of evil. We play in real time on two-dimensional maps, on which we can only move to left or right.
Seven Guardians is a strategy game set in a fantasy world, available on AND and iOS. It was developed by 4:33 Creative Lab studio, the creators of Blade: Sword of Elysion, among others.
Plot
The action of the game takes place in a fantasy universe inspired by Scandinavian mythology. It consists of nine worlds supported by the magical Yggdrasil tree. For thousands of years, their inhabitants enjoyed peace and prosperity, but the arrival of an army of the undead put an end to it. What is worse, lost battles caused people to turn against each other. Eventually, only seven noble heroes remained on the battlefield, the titular guardians. Their duty is to defeat the forces of darkness and save nine worlds from extinction.
Mechanics
Seven Guardians, available on AND and iOS platforms, is a real-time strategy game. The battles take place on two-dimensional maps, on which units can only move left or right. The player's task is mainly to summon the guardians and regular units. Once summoned, the units will automatically move towards enemies. You need to choose the right units so that they can defeat their opponents and reach their target effectively. Each of the seven heroes belongs to a different class with unique abilities and attacks. This means that we need to learn who is best at dealing with specific enemies, and then use this knowledge to win.
We start the game with a few guardians and troops, and we unlock the next ones by winning battles. The game also has a development system which allows us to improve the statistics and skills of the heroes. Seven Guardians features a campaign mode and PvP battles in various modes.
