Settlers: The Colossus is a proposal of Alawar Entertainment aimed at casual players whose interests are focused on games like "hidden objects" and uncomplicated strategies.
The action of the game was set in antiquity. The player plays the role of an emperor, who was punished by the gods with a long life far from his beloved for an unworthy deed. In order to break the curse, he must build a powerful empire and take care of the welfare of its inhabitants.
The game combines elements of HOG (Hidden Objects Game) and strategies from the kind of simulation of city construction. By solving tasks such as "hidden objects" and simple, logical mini-games, the player gains raw materials needed to construct new buildings and develop technology.
The creators have prepared more than 60 locations, where 7,000 items should be found. The game is diversified by more than 50 different mini-games checking the player's ability to think logically, perceive and reflections.
The quality of the audio-visual setting of Osadnica: The Colossus does not differ from the level set by the best productions of the Alawar Entertainment studio. Attention is drawn to the extremely colourful locations with hand drawn illustrations and an aesthetically pleasing user interface.
