Two Worlds Video Game Series
Set in a high fantasy universe, a series of action-RPG games. The series is created and developed by Reality Pump, a Krakow-based studio known for such games as World War III: Black Gold and Earth 2150: Lost Souls.
The roots of the series go back to 2007 and the game Two Worlds, released for PC and Xbox 360. Although the production received a moderately good reception among critics (the average rating of the PC version was 64/100 according to metacritic.com), it quickly gained recognition in the eyes of fans of the RPG genre. This encouraged the Reality Pump studio team to create a much more elaborate sequel. The release of Two Worlds II took place in November 2010. In the following four months, the title achieved sales of more than 2 million copies. In 2011, the developers also prepared the official expansion Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress, as well as a spin-off installment of the series - Two Worlds II: Castle Defense.
The games in the Two Worlds II series share a common story line. The action takes place in the fantastic world of Antaloor, inhabited by humans, dwarves, orcs and dragons, among others. Players get to know the adventures of a nameless hero, who is drawn into the vortex of events that decide the fate of the universe.
The series largely duplicates solutions known from other action-RPGs, including, for example, Gothic or The Elder Scrolls. This includes non-linear gameplay, plenty of side quests to complete and extensive terrain to explore. What draws attention, however, are specific elements (present especially in Two Worlds II) such as a classless character development system, the ability to craft items on your own, and extensive spell-creating options. Complementing the single-player gameplay is standalone multiplayer.
On the technical side, the Two Worlds series benefits from the original solutions of the Reality Pump studio. In the case of the first installment of the series, it was Earth Engine 6. In Two Worlds II, on the other hand, a completely new engine - GRACE - was used.

A sequel to 2007's Two Worlds - an RPG developed by Reality Pump. The story is set five years after the events of the original game. The land of Antaloor are ruled by the dark lord Gandohar. The protagonist is kept prisoner in a dungeon after a failed attempt to rescue his sister. Surprisingly, his old enemies, the Orcs, rescue him, offering alliance in order to liberate Antaloor. Much like in the original game, the player explores a huge, open world on foot or on horseback. The game world itself is filled with new locations, challenges and threats. Apart from the progress the series has made in terms of the visuals since the first installment, the sequel improves the combat system - more combat tactics can be applied now, for an ability to actively block enemy strikes was introduced into the game. Additionally, magic was expanded, enabling the player to combining spells together to their liking.

An action RPG set in a fantasy universe, developed by Polish studio Reality Pump, previously known for its RTS series Earth. The story of Two Worlds is set in the realm of Antaloor, where a long-lasting peace gets disturbed when a mysterious temple is found, assumed to be the tomb of the god of war Aziraal. Upon learning about that, hordes of orcs launch a bloody crusade against those who desecrate the tomb of their former leader. In Two Worlds you play as a mercenary who must find 5 pieces of a mysterious artifact, which is in fact the key to the demon’s tomb, in order to save his sister from kidnappers. The gameplay is, to a large extent, non-linear and the virtual world keeps changing depending on the player’s actions. The developers have also implemented a unique magic system and unlimited character progression. When it comes to scale, Two Worlds doesn't fall behind the third installment in the Gothic series or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The third major installment in the third-person action RPG series started in 2007. The game is being developed by Polish studio Reality Pump which, after releasing the unsuccessful RPG Raven’s Cry and allegedly having gone bankrupt, was taken under the wings of a German company TopWare Interactive. The action of Two Worlds III once again takes us to Antaloor, the world known from the previous parts of the game. You assume the role of a hero whose actions will shape the fate of the whole universe. Mechanics combine classic RPG elements – rich, multi-branch storylines with loads of main and side quests, and an extensive character progression system – with dynamic arcade combat, during which you can use a wide range of weapons, armors, and magic.
