Sea of Craft PC

Sea of Craft is a sandbox, action adventure game in which ocean exploration and shipbuilding system play a very important role. Players can use a huge amount of materials and have far-reaching freedom to create ships. The independent Wizard Games studio is responsible for the development and release of this game.

Mechanics

In Sea of Craft, we sail on a large, open ocean (the action is most often observed from the third person perspective - TPP). We use a ship designed by us for this purpose, but in terms of construction, game gives players a lot of freedom, allowing them to create original ships from hundreds of available types of materials. A realistic physics system also plays a key role.

The game presents us with a number of different challenges - sometimes we have to get somewhere in the shortest time, another time we have to destroy some ship or get to a specific place. The waters we sail on are dangerous - there are hostile ships and sea monsters. By winning battles and exploring the ruins of an ancient civilization, we gain various riches, thanks to which we can improve our ship.

The game of the Wizard Games team also allows you to share ship designs with other players - a special network environment called Ship Expo is used for this purpose.

Game modes

We can play Sea of Craft alone or with others. The game offers single player mode, which has been divided into chapters - in each of them we have to face a different set of challenges.

The game also has an online multiplayer mode - we can fight sea monsters together with other players or stand up to fight against them.

Technical aspects

Sea of Craft has an attractive, three-dimensional graphic design. The best impression in this game is made by the way the sea waves are reproduced - they behave quite realistically and nicely, especially in combination with changing weather conditions and the day and night cycle. The designs of some locations, monsters and ships are also interesting.
