Mechanics

Dieselpunk Wars is a simulation game set in a large open world, divided into a number of environments such as deserts and swamps. During the game, the player builds combat vehicles (land, water or air) and then uses them to explore the map and fight the enemies he meets. The whole machine is based on the main block, which can be enclosed by a number of smaller parts - more than 270 parts in total. Among them are weapons, engines and wheels. Additionally, these segments can be modified e.g. by changing the materials used in the construction.

An advanced physics system has been implemented in the game. Vehicles react to weather changes and the natural elements. They must have an appropriately balanced centre of gravity and be designed adequately for the environment in which they move. In addition, excessive use of the engine may cause self-ignition.

Physics also plays an important role in the combat. All bullets have different ballistics and differ in armour penetration. Additionally, the designed vehicle can ricochet certain types of ammunition. The damage to the main block is a necessary condition for the destruction of the vehicle. The right choice of weaponry is therefore essential to win.

Game modes

Dieselpunk Wars offers a single-player story campaign, battle simulation mode and a sandbox mode.
