The thirteenth main installment of a popular party game series from Nintendo. Super Mario Party Jamboree puts additional focus on local or online multiplayer fun. The game offers over 110 crazy minigames and a Koopathlon mode for the players to compete online.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is the thirteenth main part of the series of social arcade games, launched in 1998. The game was developed by Nintendo's NDcube studio, which has delivered a number of previous titles under this banner, and has also developed projects such as the genre-related Everybody 1-2-Switch! or Wii Party.
Super Mario Party Jamboree offers the largest selection in the series to date, with over 110 mini-games in which we compete with other players. Among them there's a wide range of puzzle games, dexterity challenges, and various races. Some mini-games are known from previous editions of the series, but there are also completely new ones.
The game takes place on various boards, such as Rainbow Galleria, Roll'em Raceway or Goomba Lagoon. In addition, Mario's Rainbow Castle from the first Mario Party returns here, as well as Western Land from Mario Party 2. The game gives us a wide range of characters at our disposal, led by Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Toad, Peach or even Bowser.
Super Mario Party Jamboree was prepared mainly for multiplayer gameplay (locally or online), but the game also allows for solo play. Among the game modes, the so-called Koopathlon deserves special mention. It's a special online competition consisting of many disciplines in which over 20 participants fight for victory at the same time.
The graphic design of Super Mario Party Jamboree is maintained in the cartoon style characteristic of the series.

Slant Magazine: 3.5 / 5 by Eli Friedberg
Jamboree may not be about to hit the tournament circuit, but its very recognition of demand for a Mario Party with game balance is encouraging. Its basic game rules preserve series norms in all their highs and lows, while its motion-based gimmick modes offer nostalgic throwbacks to the wrist-twisting game designs of the Wii. But it’s the overtures to a more tactile, grounded, skill-rewarding board game experience that indicate developer Nintendo Cube’s interest in a future, and not just a past, for the genre of party mayhem.

Mario Party Jamboree is best played with friends!
Daily Mirror: 4 / 5 by Aaron Potter
What could have been an overstuffing of gameplay styles old and new has quite literally turned out to be a jamboree of a good time for Mario’s most chaotic franchise. A few unbalanced mini-games and over-talkative tutorials aside, Super Mario Party Jamboree strikes a good balance between giving players options with how they’d like to play while also providing a good sprinkling of board game twists – most obviously through the new brilliant Jamboree Buddy system. If you’ve been previously left disillusioned by previous Mario Party games on Nintendo Switch, this is easily the best entry on the platform, guaranteed to give family and friends a fun but frenetic time.
