The 12th big installment of the cycle of social arcade game compilations published by Nintendo. In Mario Party Superstars we get five iconic boards known from the earlier parts of the series, where we can compete in a hundred different mini-games.
Mario Party Superstars is the twelfth big part of the popular series of party arcade games, which is supervised by the Nintendo company. The game was developed by NDcube, a studio owned by the Kyoto-based giant.
Mechanics
Mario Party Superstars takes inspiration from the whole series, especially from the games that appeared on the Nintendo 64 and GameCube platforms. In the course of the game we take control over various heroes, among which the moustached brothers lead the way. The game features one hundred mini-games prepared with multiplayer rivalry in mind. In comparison with the original, they have been improved a lot. They are complemented by various events available on each of the five boards. Speaking of arenas, the game gives access to arenas such as Peach's Birthday Cake from the first Mario Party and Space Land from Mario Party 2.
Game modes
In Mario Party Superstars you can play together with other players both with a single console and in a local network, as well as over the Internet. The game allows you to save the state of multiplayer gameplay.
Technical aspects
The colorful graphics of Mario Party Superstars is kept in the eye-catching, cartoon style known from the game Super Mario Party. The game also borrows its interface from that game.
