Scions of Fate is a MMORPG developed by KRGsoft studio. Originally, the production was created with an Asian audience in mind, but the success in that area meant that it was published in an English version. Her story is based on YulGang, a popular Korean fantasy comic about martial arts.

The Scions of Fate action is set in a mysterious dimension, in which the knowledge of martial arts affects the whole life of a man. Their connoisseurs, as well as young people who are eager to learn, attract them to a place called the "Central Valley". It is there that masters pass on their knowledge to students, and warriors improve their skills. Some of them have joined into clans, because together it is better to face destiny. However, the "Order" organization was formed quite quickly. (Order), which has subjugated a large group of clans. This did not appeal to a large number of people, which resulted in the founding of the "Chaos" faction, which from time to time became the main opponent of the "Order". The conflict between these powerful organisations is the axis of the game and sooner or later each player has to choose one side.

Heroes can represent one of the five character classes. They are: Bladesman - a warrior with incredible speed and relatively low blow strength, killer in close combat, Swordsman - a powerful warrior of high strength and endurance, whose blows are unfortunately not very precise, Archer - an archer, ideal for distance combat, has low stamina, but healer - a character with magical skills, can heal other players and attack opponents with spells. The fifth type of hero is Spearman - a spear warrior with low endurance but the most powerful attacks.

The rules of the game do not differ too much from what we are accustomed to by such productions. We meet with other players and together (or individually) perform various tasks. For their completion we receive subjects and experience points, which we spend on improving our features and skills. We also have the opportunity to set up our own guilds or join existing ones. In the world of Scions of Fate they are called "Houses".

An interesting idea is to introduce a training system for students. Each of the advanced players can take care of a beginner, provide him/her with information about the world and help him/her to acquire new skills. In return, the master participates in the subjects acquired by the student. He also receives experience points when his charges advance to the next level.

In Scions of Fate each player can get their own animal, which will become a faithful companion of the journey and with the progress of the game will develop their qualities and skills. In order to get such a pet, it is necessary to pass the qualification test in advance. The hero's companion can be a mouse, hawk, leopard or tiger.

Graphics brings to mind Japanese RPG productions. The game world is shown in three dimensions. The way the characters are depicted is in line with what we can find in Korean manhwa comics (the equivalent of manga).

The game is free of charge. Everyone can download its client and participate in the game free of charge. What you need to spend your money on is the purchase of additional equipment for your own character, which can be done in a special online store.
